  • Teaching students with limitations

I was teaching a class last night and there was a student who came to my class with some pretty severe physical limitations. I think he had some injury to his spine and didn't have much mobility. I understand the basic anatomy that I learned from teacher training but I can't call myself a medical professional. How would you deal with these situations? Should I refer them to someone else who has more knowledge about the situation? He ended up taking my class because I don't want to turn him away or anything but it made me really cautious the entire session and pretty much have like 80% of my attention on him.
